I stayed at the La Quinta of the same group and it was great value for the money. FANTASTIC location right across from Macy's and backing on to the Empire State Building, and at a good price at the time too. Free breakfast and internet as well.
I imagine all hotels of this group are similar? Not perfect, but pretty damn good - with great locations at a (i hope) good price.
