Even if every player overachieves or plays to their potential, it is very likely the Jays don't have enough hitting to make it to the playoffs. At best, this is only a slightly above average offensive team.
Add Bonds? Changes the dynamic drastically. I think he could be the difference - and in all honesty what do you have to lose on a team destined for 3rd place?
