I think Bonds will jump on the 2pm to Toronto if JP offers anything reasonable salary wise, and it's not like the Jays have any kind of established leaders in that clubhouse to shakeup. Not to mention, this will put the Jays on ESPN 24-7 for the next several weeks, imagine the reaction he will get in New York and Boston, man listening to the crowd would make suffering through a Jamie Campbell broadcast well worth it.
It's an easy call for JP, he's done if he doesn't win this year, bad press is still press which will sell tickets, especially when this club draws flies for A's and Rangers series. Plus Bonds can actually produce.
