edit-If you think about it Bonds is the perfect fit, the Jays need left handed pop in between the gaggle of righties, he runs better than Frank, has a killer eye, doesn't rush Lind ahead of schedule........but he comes with more baggage than anyone in MLB history. Agreed. Sad day getting rid of Thomas, but it was hard not do considering his whining just one day after being held off the roster. It wasn't the usual cliche tone either. As for Bonds, I agree with he's the type of hitter the Jays need, but considering it's Bonds and he's a less than welcoming teammate from all accounts, I'd say it's an easy pass. I can't believe JP admitted to thinking about signing him in the offseason. Personally, I don't think he'd consider coming to Toronto as (it's just a rumor), but his ex-wife was Canadian, and after his divorce he was really bitter against Canadians in general.
