You know how Wendys always makes their burgers "hot off the grill?" How can they do that during a rush hour? Well, they cook patties and those patties have X number of minutes to be used before they are no longer "fresh." Once that time has passed, they become chilli meat. That is the reason Wendys sells chilli; and sells it so cheap; it's a way to use up the wasted meat.
So for example in a +15 location downtown, never order chilli on a Monday; as it will be Friday's burgers.
