I think Matt Ryan is a good QB, but Im not sold on top 5 ability. This year reminds me of the year Alex Smith went to the 49ers in terms of QBs. Some teams really need a QB in order to start over, but bad timing has a draft with few solid guys at the top of the draft board.
If Allen gets traded, Gholsten would be a good start as a replacement. He's pretty versatile and can play in different schemes. CNNSI just released their new mock draft (version 6) and they are also projecting Brandon Albert going to the Chiefs, as ESPN reported yesterday.
Like the Raiders, the Chiefs have several options because of how many holes they have. The Raiders, outside of CB/S, QB, and LB are in need. Theyre lines could use a stud. But, having said that, the vast majority of our top end picks the past 6-7 years have been on CBs and there's lots of talk around McFadden being back on the Raiders' board... and Al Davis is senile/insane... so who knows.
If Chris Long's son is there at 4, it might be tough to pass up a guy with that motor (very similar to Allen), that name and that attitude.
