Kind of ironic - after reading the initial post, I stepped out onto my balcony to see if we could see the Calgary Tower from our balcony and discovered two fire trucks parked below my building and smoke rising from a balcony below me. Looks like an illegal outdoor firepot or something caught the balcony on fire or something. So instead of seeing the Calgary Tower flame, I got to experience the rancid smoke of localized flames.
Not fun.
