That's why I think I need to start a club or something for people starting guitar to get together and try out each other's gear and to teach each other instead of every person individually buying hundreds to thousands of dollars in guitars and amps and teachers just trying to find what fits them best.
I've only been playing for 3 years, completely self-taught via the internet. It's been okay but I'm not that great.

True, i have a friend who is in the music buisness in nashville , whom lets me use his stuff. He taught me most of the chords but i feel stupid because im not to sure about the counting of music...... obviously i use chordie.com to find chords but the songs never sound right lol..... i have trouble keeping rhythm when strumming so i have been trying to use a metronome but i still dont feel like im playing any good lol
