We have "Flames die-hards" that come out of the woodwork every year during the playoffs. I get a real kick out of their "fond memories" that are littered with inaccuracies:
"Dude, I've loved the Flames ever since Makarov undressed Roy to win the Cup at the Dome..."
"I was at the game at the Corral when Steve Smith fired one in his own net...."
Stuff like that. I usually get rid of them once they stop amusing me by talking about obscure facts and trivia.. Many bandwagon fans in the office. They'll cheer me as I replace the flags on the top of our building with Flames flags... then heckle me when I've taken them down after the past 2 years...
Drives me nuts now that I think of it.
