I have been to Flames games in Edmonton and had all sorts of people yell things at me. Some in jest, some out right mean, some to intentionally hit a nerve. I just let it roll off my back. I'm greatly out numbered and people are always tough in crowds.
Heck I even wore my Chiefs jersey and hat to a Monday night game in Oakland (really stupid move by the way). I was called everything in the book and threatened with physical violence repeatedly. I never said a thing, didn't make any gestures and kept to myself as much as I could.
