Most of you guys have said Suburu which is what he wants. I just thought the BMW looked nicer. I prolly shouldnt be picking cars based on how pretty they look the same way I shouldnt be picking college bball teams in my bracket according to how cute their mascot is (although thats why I picked the Jayhawks to go far). Haha Im just kidding. I guess I didnt know a lot about cars and didnt know that BMWs could be expensive to maintain in comparison to the Subarus etc.
German auto manufacturers have had really horrible reliability and maintenance costs for many years now. If you want a BMW on the cheaper end, I do like the 3-series looks. It's more natural and elegant than the crazier BMW stylings.

The Subaru's hatchback could come in handy if you want to move stuff around. It has a higher quality interior than the Evo and probably a more comfortable ride even though it would not be as fast or could never take a corner like the Evo. But I suppose the youngin's won't be caring about that.

New question..you know how some cars, about 5 years down the road, look like a piece of crap, while other makes/models still look nice? Does this apply to either the Soob or the BMW models this thread is about?
I think that BMW you wanted will look horrible bad 5 years down the line. BMW is trying to change their styling away from that look which their flagship look from the late 90s until recentely. The Subaru, it depends on what you like. Subarus from 1999 still look great to me.
