My husband has it stuck in his head that the 2008 Suburu WRX STI is the best way to go. Keep in mind that we already have a 4 door Honda Civic and we are planning on having kids in about 2 years so we can't get a 2 seater sports car or anything fun like that. Also, we are in our early 30s.

I would rather have the new 2008 BMW 135i....it looks much nicer! He wouldnt mind this car (its his 2nd choice) but prefers the "Scoob" (as he calls it) much better. Its supposed to be powerful in terms of engine. I personally think the Suburu looks like a station wagon!

Help! Give me pros of the BMW or cons of the Suburu to change his mind!

Keep in mind that we will keep either car for its lifetime (not leasing it) and that it is going to be our 2nd car (it's not just a car used for fun on weekends, but we will actually use it on a daily basis to go to work etc).

I need info soon or else Im afraid he's going to get the yucky looking Suburu!
