I think you'll be confident if you are yourself and do something you're comfortable with. You don't need to 'wow' her... you alone are enough to 'wow' her. Doing something simple where you can just chat allows you both to be the focus of attention... and then you can shine! After a few dates and you've gotten to know each other pretty well, that's when you start to look for more unique and creative dates.

I do agree about not spending too much money though. No point being ostentatious...
I agree. When a guy is trying to wow me I feel uncomfortable and I tell him to relax. I've even paid for the first date before
