Eating/Coffee/Walking around somewhere - that gives you a lot more time to talk.
I went for a date the other day in the pool. Haha, it was weird, she went and played in one side of the pool while I tried to swim my workout/laps, pool got busy, some stupid lady not understanding circle swim letting faster people pass - so I went and did breaststroke in the other side with the girl
We just went leisurely back and forth and back and forth chatting for about 45 minutes. Then went for lunch and coffee... Was a long afternoon... Got to know her pretty well.
Have a dog? Take it for a walk, or, walking then grabbing coffee and a bite to warm up/relax.
And not to derail the other suggestion, after that, PLOW HER!
