Without getting into the gory details, I'm walking, talking proof that one is not rendered sterile for a looonnng time after a vasectomy. My wife and I are expecting number four in the summer......very surprising number four.

Out of curiosity, how long after the vasectomy were you still shooting live bullets? I was given the all-clear after a month as far as I recall.
And yes, my wife is also an RN, and I know what you mean about cross-contamination.
