Pfft. Once he gives me the ticket, it is mine to do with as I please. I didn't litter, just crumpled it up and threw in on the floor of my car. I never swore, didn't spit on him, etc. etc.
I remember watching one of the "Cops" type shows once where some guy went absolutely bat-e crazy over a ticket, ripped it and threw it in the cops face. The cop calmly suggested he pick up the pieces or he'd cite him for littering... funny stuff watching the guy freak out, pick up his pieces of ticket in front of the cop, get back in his vehicle... only to have the cop say "you missed a piece" and the guy had to get back out again. I lol'd.
I have the greatest respect for the cops and the job they do. Hell, my best man was a cop, my next door neighbor is a sarg with the RCMP, the neighbor across the street is an RCMP.... I just thought that this cop saw a young punk in a nice convertible and wanted to follow him for awhile waiting for said young punk to mess up. When young punk didn't mess up, he dinged him for the only thing he had, which was a measly $20 (or something) for a burnt out tail light. It just really ticked me off because I KNEW he was back there following me, then he pulls me over basically right beside my house, and basically for nothing.
