Unfortunately that falls under "cruel and unusual punishment." However, I think when it comes to child rapists and other henious crimes that require segregation from the general population, guards and inmates are on the same side.
I could see a guard, "making a rec time schedule mistake" and "looking the other way for a few minutes".
With garbage like this, I wonder if he's even safe in the freaks wing (pedophiles, rapists, molesters, etc...)
