Let's see... I bolded the names that usually get me the most flack

Me dislikes:
Aerosmith (average), Smashing Pumpkins (the voice, it hurts), Bob Marley (just not very good in it's genre), Johnny Cash (pretentious, some horrible covers, few good covers but not that original really), Eric Clapton (was this guy born in a bubble? Put some feeling into it, man!), Guns'n'Roses (hate the vocals, hate the guitars, all good songs are covers, managed to create just one good intro, irritating people, ridiculously hyped), U2 (just too average, way overhyped, Bono is a definite nominee for the most hypocritical celebrity ever), Arcade Fire (not as talented as they seem to think), Janis Joplin (yeah, she was a woman, big whoop), Linkin Park / Nickelback / Creed (I'm not even sure I can remember which is which, I just know I hate each of them when I hear them), Tool (one-trick pony, mostly really boring, sucks live, occasionally I like the general sound), Coldplay (*shudder*), Ozzy Osbourne ("Mama I'm coming home" is a crime against humanity), Pantera (a couple of good songs but really just boring), Rolling Stones (mostly just old, remarkably few notable songs considering the size of the back catalog), System of a Down (really only the last two albums, but I hate those with conviction. Generally they hide their lack of composing by chopping songs into tiny bits. Yodling metal, how dumbed down can you get? The first three albums are not that bad, but too uneven and somewhat redundant.), Beach Boys (just not good), Frank Zappa (Zappa rules as a man, but I really don't see the point of most of what he did), Beastie Boys (a couple of rocking hits, but the albums are untolerable), Patti Smith (I had to add this because so many of my friends love her. I just don't see the point.)

I left out a lot that were already mentioned, because I can't list all bands I don't like anyway.

Me Likes (out of those mentioned):
Beatles, Pink Floyd, Modest Mouse

I used to like Jimi Hendrix and Metallica, but Metallica post-Justice mostly sucks, and Jimi's very very dead, all the songs are worn out. I also still like the Doors, which many find weird. Admittedly, they're kind of horrible. But they're just so lovable.

Nine Inch Nails has some of the best songs ever, even if a lot of it's stuff is pretty pointless.
