There are tons of bands out there that sound similar in most of their songs. Heck, John Fogerty was sued by his old label because he sounded too much like CCR. Thankfully, the judge laughed it out of court because, of course, Fogerty had written most of the CCR stuff. I can tell a Van Halen song within about 5 seconds just from the way Eddie plays the guitar. Why does a band need to reinvent itself all the time?

I've been an AC/DC fan since I was about ten years old, I still look forward to every release (BTW, the 3 DVD set released last year is excellent).
