I used to run a skate / snow shop. I'd suggest taking it to your nearest local shop and paying the nominal fee to get it fixed. Or I suppose you could buy an iron and some wax, but get those who do it for a living to fix it for you properly.

edit: Out of curiousity, what kind of board are you riding? I've always been partial to Supernat's
