I've done irrigation for a few summers. I'm doing practicums this year, but I did it for 3 summers previously. The job itself is pretty easy, but you do a lot of digging. I had an awesome boss and the guys I worked with were great, so, that made going to work enjoyable. You get to be outside all day... umm... you get to dig stuff.... umm... yeah.
Golf course jobs are sweet. I worked at wintergreen when I was 16. Best job ever. We just screwed around on carts and had races. Tee'd them up, including the gargantuan transport cart. That sucker could move.
You could always go paint.
