The guys who drove at exactly the speed limit beside each other on the 401 in Ontario, not only got fines, I believe they got (short) jail time.
The reason why you let people pass you, even if you are going the speed limit, is that because, if you don't traffic can get all bunched up in a clump, and that's when accidents happen.
The guy going speed limit at the front may not ever get in an accident himself, but he sure can't claim that he's not the cause (partial of course)of any accidents.
