How were you not able to get alcohol. Mexico has got to have the most laid back drinking laws ever. I'm 18 this year but for the last two years even though my parents didn't have any problem with me drinking the hotel gave me the bracelet that said no alcohol yet i was still able to order drinks from practically any bartender.
As for what to do in cancun. Get juiced and slay some dragons
