Correct... but, like every other evil technology caveat in the world (iPhone et al), there is a workaround!
...I'd tell you more, but then I'd have to... well... type more.
(I'm kidding, I have no clue what the workaround is, since I don't have an HDTV and have never looked it up - but I do know two people who have done it.)
