What kind of car are you in the market for? I mean do you want a sports car? Sedan?
Honestly I've always been a fan of Honda Civic Sedans they are a great all purpose vehicle, they have some guts in them (not much), but they are a really nice ride and can be had at the right price.
Personally I drive a 98 Integra and I'm quite happy with it.
As far as sportscars? See if you can get a deal on an old Supra if you wanna go that way.
