I disagree, but I admit that it's something that has never been demonstrated in practice. I believe that it is
possible in the theoretical sense for the Liberals to shift some of their vision westward - indeed I think it is likely that this will happen as the population growth of the West continues and the economic muscle continues to strengthen. Eventually, if they want to get back into power, the Liberals are going to
have to expand their base and Alberta and BC (BC more so than Alberta based on existing ideology) are the two places where there is the potential for them to grow- simply because they are so small here.
