I have a Panasonic DLP.

However some people can see a "rainbow" effect becuase of the DLP technique.

Plasma from what I understand gets burn in, so if you game alot or watch CNN it will burn in the tube. Also plasma cannot be fixed if the screen gets fata'd up.

DLP and LCD are run on light bulbs so once they are toast you can get a new one.

I've had my DLP since December very happy with it, espcially watching HDTV.
