Some people I know go to the church in Montrose where the pastor that was nominated as the PC candidate, but them the PC's rejected the nomination and put in a different guy (Manmeet Bhullar, who I would vote for just based on the pure awesomeness of his name).
They're working for his campaign and they were telling me how terrible it was that the democratic process was circumvented and stuff, but reading some blogs it doesn't seem it was all that cut and dried (they were told that their nomination process was wrong before they even started but they went ahead anyway, someone was saying that they thought it was just the outgoing Pham trying to make life difficult for the PCs)
Anyway, is it just me or is there a law somewhere that every election has to have some kind of drama in Montrose. It seems an inordinate amount of weird election stuff goes on there.
