The Blues were without Emery, Kessel and Ouellet this game as they were all sat to rest up injuries. GM Spike Jarvis was a bit worried about his goal tending with Emery hurt, so he pulled off a deal with the Sabres to pick up veteran net minder Marc Denis. Denis leaves Buffalo in style with a 36 save shut out.
