I'm not saying this is the case with this particular topic, but since this thread has turned into a conspiracy debate in general, I'll say this...

At what point did global warming shift from a 'conspiracy theory' to accepted scientific theory?

At what point did the US faking WMD's in Iraq change from 'conspiracy theory' to proven fact?

Are middle class workers beginning to see that free trade agreement protesters actually know what they're talking about? There was a time FTA's were widely viewed as an amazing progression for economies everywhere. What happened in Seattle in 1999 was the first in what has a become an incredibly strong social movement, and includes Barrak Obama and virtually every union worker in the US.

My point is, social movements and truths that go against public opinion are always met with strong criticism at first. The more people hear about them and learn of their true ideas, the more they pick up steam. Again, I'm not saying this particular theory will have this trend, and personally I don't see it to be the case, but there's something to be said to all the folks here who sharply dismiss these theories one after another and paint us 'conspiracy theorists'. I'm well aware that my argument is not bullet proof, and frankly I'm not interested in further debating things like this.
