i came in here to say the exact same thing. started recording, watched an episode of Terminator, then caught up just as it was ending. i actually enjoy the Oscars when i can skip the commercials, songs, tributes, "who cares" awards, and the dreaded acceptance speeches. good to see No Country clean up, awesome film (though i still think 3:10 To Yuma should have been nominated for best film, and Christian Bale for best actor)

really though i enjoyed Jon Stewart more than the Oscars itself, he had some good stuff tonight. and with his own team of writers working with him on it, it had a little Daily Show flavor to it
