The Oilers end their three-game losing streak with a solid 3-0 win over the Phoenix Coyotes. Backup netminder Patrick Lalime earned his first shutout of the season in his first start in quite some time (he was however named third star two games ago versus the Blues after stopping all 18 shots he faced in relief of Martin Brodeur).
Mike Grier continues his hot streak by notching two assists in the win, and shockingly Bryce Salvador led all Oilers with six shots on goal and managed to score the game-winning goal in the first period.
The Oilers now have three days to convalesce during which time it is hoped Roman Hamrlik and Ales Kotalik can get back to full health.
