I've been browsing at a few places, and the Banff Inn: http://www.banffinn.com/ has $99 rooms and looks to be nice inside and out.
Has anyone ever stayed at this place, or any other favourites around that price that I should look into? I've never stayed in Banff before.(moved to Calgary in 2003)

Personally I recommend Charlton Cedar Court, the Loft Suite is pretty decent for the price. High Country Inn is pretty good too, breakfast included (get the Honeymoon suite), Royal Canadian Lodge and Rimrock are swell but likely out of your budget, Banff Springs is overrated, spend your $$ elsewhere. Trust me I've stayed in 95% of the hotels in Banff, it's like my second home. Have you thought about what to do there yet? Check out
horseback riding it's really fun, ride the Gondola too, there's one each in Banff, Lake Louise, and Golden BC at the Kicking Horse resort, the restaurant is great at the top if you have time to go to Golden for a day-trip. The Brewster Gondola in Banff is ok for what it is but nothing spectacular. The Lake Louise one is alright too.
