Amen bubby. I'm not really suppose to post on blogs and forums on this stuff since I'm on the government end of health, but I agree that the front line health workers, the ones that deal with the public are really under appreciated for all the work that they do, and more importantly, what they put up with.
I see correspondence everyday from people that write into the Ministry, while some good, there are those that I have to scratch my head about. In one case, an individual tried to use some sort of financial analysis why his toothache was more important to be looked over the other people that were seen before him for the duration that he was waiting for. I can only imagine what it’s like to be directly dealing with the angry public. To close with a more diplomatic touch, we do get correspondence from people that really take the time to write, either thanking a particular health worker or hospital, or spreading some positive message. Those really positives ones are something we really appreciate
