Fairmont has a limited $199/night package that includes room AND 2 ski passes. Makes it only $80 a night which is a FAR cry from the ~$400 rack rate.

My favorite for cheap stays is Inns of Banff though. HUGE rooms, great rates, AWESOME outdoor hot tub, and good indoor pool stuff too.

The king rooms sometimes smell like they may have been smoking rooms decades ago but it is not that bad (I am VERY sensitive to cig smoke, so trust me, not that bad) and the layout of the buildings is odd, but worth every penny of the ~$100/night you can usually haggle out with them.

Oh, and there breakfast deals are silly, try to get JUST the room if possible!
