I'm a girl and I think Valentines Day is pretty ridiculous. I'd like to think my man doesn't need one day assigned on the calendar to show he cares. When I tell him not to send me flowers, I mean it. Why pay 200 bucks for flowers that will be dead in a few days because the florists started working on arrangements last week?

I'm not the only girl who tells her guy not to buy gifts and they won't pay for it in the end. I'd rather get something we both want with Valentines Day as an excuse, like patio furniture or a TV.
