I've never been to Nicaragua, but I've heard all about it.

Think buying coke from a farmer who uses a machete to chop off a chunk, and dumps it in your hands for $10. I've also heard of people trading tshirts and hats for ounces of blow from farmers who found packages floating in lake Nicaragua.

I've also seen people come back from central america after a 6 month holiday with no tan, and about 30 lbs lighter. I'd suggest that anyone with any kind of cocaine predisposition to stay faaaaaar away from that place.
