The country is at war, the economy is almost in a recession, and Congress is wasting tax money on a baseball player who did "nothing wrong" in the grand scheme of things. 
  
Sure there is something good to come out of this. It will send a good message to the American youth that drugs are not good, but this is a big price to pay.

When HGH and Steriod use is increasing amoung highschool atheletes, then no, the price is not significant.
 
I believe Rome quoted a figure that 1 million HS students were using some type of performance enhancing drug.  Staggering and tragic figure.  Something which needs to be stopped.  Now.
