Harris IMO is a tad overrated though, and aside from his quickness, I don't see the guy being a huge threat to the Raps. Down the road though, those 2 1st rounders may.
Kidd is a constant threat for a triple-double (or at least a double-double) but his productivity is on the decline and he's 34. Harris, Stackhouse, Diop, George Ager arent going to blow the doors off of anyone (the last 3 are all UFA's this year) but Harris and Stackhouse are still serviceable.

On top of the players are the two picks - 2008 and 2010 first rounders. They'll be in the 20s which isnt blue chip by any means, but still significant.

The Mavs also sent $3M cash in the trade.

Add it all up and the Mavs are a pretty scary team with Kidd dishing out the ball (top 3-5 PG in the league still). But 5 players, 2 1st rounders and $3M for an aged PG and Malik Allen? Yikes, IMO.

The good news is the fans get to see heavy weights - Dallas, Phoenix, San Antonio; middle weights - LA, New Orleans, Denver and Utah and Dark horses - Golden State and Houston battle it out. Every game of every series has the potential to be dynamite.

The east could probably just fast forward to the Conference Final and have a best of 15 between the Celtics and Pistons... the rest can be put in the NIT bracket.
