Yahoo Sports has a rumor (sounds a bit more than a rumor) that the Nets are serious about dealing Carter to Indiana for Jermaine O'Neal (sp?) basically straight up, so much as to going to the extent of having the doc's examine O'Neal's knees already (but that's causing them to back out). Personally, I'd do it 'cause Carter does jack for a "team", but considering the return they just got for Kidd and the "arms race" some of you are pointing out, along with the rebuilding direction the Nets are going with, I'd deal the guy to the first sucker to pop 2 early 1sts along with 1 year contracts.
