I don't think it's any secret that the Flames lack a lot of truly high end skilled forwards in their prospect ranks. But say there are "only 3" is ignoring the the fact that any number of their prospects could develop into a skilled forward.
Hugo Carpentier has some upside.
As does John Armstrong
To name two.
Which isn't to say I'm an expert on either, or that I would bet the money on them turning into NHL scorers.
But that's the nature of the drafting game.
