well the basic belief is that if Clinton wins the nomination the Republican party has a better chance at the Presidency as she is seen as a divisive character. She is controverisal in the fact that she originally supported Bush in the war, and many of her arguments could easily be undermined by her past actions. Obama is seen more so as a unifier with may Republicans and Independents liking him, 75% of Clinton supporters say they would still be happy if Obama won the nomination. Therefore he is more of a threat to beat McCain.
