Well, the point is that the garage where the mechanic works doesn't rope off the bay and turns away business while he's off "finding himself." No matter how talented the guy is.
Until such time as Daniel Ryder exhibits 100 percent commitment (without hand holding), then writing him off as a prospect is what the Flames should rightfully do.
