So here's the deal: I was looking for a mod chip on the internet for my DS so that I could download and play cracked games on it; I know a couple of people that have one and they're outstanding. Against my own sceptical judgement, I ordered one on a site I've never heard of before;
www.modchip.com; which offered the chip at the best price, however they only had them on back order. I considered the site to be legit, so I paid by credit card, and expected them to ship within a month as stated on their site.
This was in October.
I still have not received anything, and my repetitive emails asking about the situation, which eventually turned into emails demanding my money back, have not been answered. They do not have a telephone number. I'm feeling quite ripped off.
Does anyone else have experience with a bogus online purchase, or have any advice what I have to do to get my money back? Could I contact Mastercard and see what they can do for me? Any help is much appreciated.
