Seriously, why doesn't Edmonton just build 15' high truck balls as their entrance sculpture?

On a side note, I'm rather disappointed that the granite stone welcome sign as you enter Calgary from the East was not replicated from the north, south or west. They look a hell of a lot better than yet another tin road sign.
