Exactly. And BMW with their hydrogen car that happens to have a V12 that runs on gasoline as well, and not very efficiently at that. Hydrogen is (apparently, I'm no expert) rather energy-intensive to produce and get into the car. And Mercedes with an expanding line of "clean diesel" cars, which are cleaner, but they are still diesel, and they are still used to power mostly very large cars and SUVs.
It's just lip service to the environment. The Beemer will be given to some celebrities first so they can, presumably, feel better about themselves while they drive a 150 thousand dollar boat down the street.
But at least there is some vague "awareness".
