Not very many in the circles I'm in. Out of people I know, I don't know of any engagements that have broken off. THe times when I've heard of it, it's been like an aquaintance of an aquaintance.

This is a statistic that often gets quoted, but in Canada, the number is closer to 35%. It's also somewhat misleading. The percentage of marriages that end in divorce is significantly higher then the percentage of married people who will ever have a divorce. (Due to the number of people who have multiple divorces).
