Stop calling it an article. It's Gregg Freakin' Easterbrook. He's no more an authority on the morals and rules of the NFL than Bill Simmons is of the NBA. I read both religiously and find both entertaining but it's mere opinion, conjecture and hyperbole. His disdain for the Flyin' Elvii and Belicheat taints any semblance of objectivity with respect to the allegations. He's complained time and again that he's the only one making a fuss about these things. Perhaps there's a reason his is the only gong that's clanging.
