Maybe so. But it doesn't matter if its the Pro Bowl, or the NHL All Star Game or the MLB All Star Game. If a player is selected, he should go. Especially the Pro Bowl. Its in Hawaii after the season. The game its self is half speed. Players will use the fact that they were selected to a Pro Bowl during contract negotiations (although in Brady's case that wouldn't matter one way or the other at the present time). I think it should be a requirement of every CBA (personally I think All Star Games are bogus) since the players and teams would be no where without the fans. Does it really kill you to show up for an exhibition game at the end of season? If your injured, fine give your spot to a healthy player. But if you just don't feel like going? I don't feel like going on half the business trips I go on. But its part of my job.
