The Lakers are turning into the Leafs of the NBA. Mortgaging their future for the now. Gasol is a great great player, not sure why Memphis have decided to retool.
As for nobody being better than the Spurs, I hope you just meant in the west. Detroit and Boston are both far superior teams.
